Our CEO, Rosa Padilla, is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 21 years of service in corporate accounting, primarily in the staffing and recruiting industry. Within five years of graduating from New Jersey City University, Rosa became an accounting manager of a publicly traded staffing company. She would go on to become the controller of a $320 million staffing company before earning her CPA license. Her deep experience in accounting for the staffing and recruiting industry inspired her to found RLP, CPA LLC to provide staffing companies across all industries with the accounting, back-office, and consultative services they need to survive – and thrive – in today’s market.
Due to Rosa’s affiliation with the AICPA, this allowed her to create strides in maximizing a company’s financial outlook. During a pivotal time in our country’s history, RLP, CPA LLC helped businesses obtain funding through the Payroll Protection Program (PPP) as well as assisted some of her clients with the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC) in conjunction with an industry vendor. With Rosa’s assistance, some businesses were also able to apply and receive PPP loan forgiveness upwards of $13 million combined which created a healthier financial outcome during COVID-19. Rosa’s diligence in completing all the requirements ensured companies maintained financial stability to continue servicing their clients and contributing to the economy’s labor market.
